PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON -_ COUNTY OF ALAMEDA ~" STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2073 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO ALLOW REYNOLDS AND BROWN TO LOCATE THEIR IDENTIFYING BUSINESS PARK SIGN IN A PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY. WHEREAS, Reynolds and Brown have applied for design review approval which would allow a monument sign at the entrance of their new business development located on Johnson Drive, immediately behind the Denny's, Hungry Hunter, et al commercial complex at Johnson Drive and Hopyard Road; and WHEREAS, at their meeting of October 14, 1981 the Design Review Board of the City of Pleasanton approved the design of the sign as filed under Case Z-81-96; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of_ the City of Pleasanton is empowered to consider locating the sign in the City right-of-way; and "- WHEREAS, this matter was considered by the full Planning Commission on October 14, 1981 at their regular Planning Commission meeting. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton authorizes the Director of Public Works and Utilities to allow Reynolds and Brown to locate their identifying business park sign in the public right-of-way per the conditions shown in the Staff Report to the Design Review Board dated October 14, 1981 attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective the day after notification to City Council or October 28, 1981.
