PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2074 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING <br />A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR ESSENAR INVESTMENTS <br />OF AUBURN AND PET'S, INC. AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />UP-81-28 <br />WHEREAS, Essenar Investments of Auburn and Pet's, Inc. have <br />applied for a conditional use permit to allow a <br />pet store at 1711 Santa Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned C-N (Neighborhood Commercial) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on October 14, <br />1981 at which time all public testimony and documents <br />were received and considered. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission makes the following findings: <br />A. That the proposed location of the conditional use <br />is in accord with the objectives of this chapter and <br />the purposes of the district in which the site is <br />located. <br />B. The proposed location of the conditional use and the <br />conditions under which it would be operated or <br />maintained will not be detrimental to the public <br />health, safety or welfare or be materially injurious <br />to properties or improvements in the vicinity. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with <br />each applicable provisions of this chapter. <br />Section 2. The Planning Commission approves Case UP-81-28 <br />subject to the following condition: <br />1. That this use permit is granted only for the <br />area known as 1711 Santa Rita Road. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 14th day of October 1981 by the <br />following vote: <br />
