PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2076 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE RZ-81-20 AS FILED BY HARRY HEMPY ET AL WHEREAS, Harry and Evelyn R. Hempy and Robert and Margaret Starnes have applied to rezone an approximately 9 acre site located on the vJgSt side of Foothill Road north of Highland Oaks Drive in the vicinity of 5050 and 5100 Foothill Road from the "A" (Agriculture) to the R-1-40,000 (Single-family Residential) District or to any other zoning district consistent with the General Plan; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 14, 1981, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for case RZ-81-20; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated October 14, 1981 and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed development plans; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds the proposed application (RZ-81-20) would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves the negative declaration for the rezoning of an approximately 9 acre site located on the west side of Foothill Road north of Highland Oaks Drive in the vicinity of 5050 and 5100 Foothill Road as filed under case RZ-81-20. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton on the 14th day of October 1981 by the following vote: AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairperson Getty NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None
