PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />- COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2081 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING <br />APPROVAL OF A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />PREPARED FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE AXIOM GROUP AS <br />FILED UNDER CASE PUD-81-28 <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 28, 1981 the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed mitigated negative declaration for <br />development plan approval of an approximately 70,000 <br />sq, ft. commercial/office development to be located <br />between First Street and the SPRR right-of-way from <br />Angela Street to the extension of Bernal Avenue and <br />between Neal Street, Angela Street, the SPRR right-of-way <br />and a line approximately 250 feet east of Main Street, <br />and rezoning of the site to PUD-Commercial/Offices, also <br />to rezone the Delucchi and Wayside Parks located on <br />the west side of First Street between Angela Street and <br />a point approximately 350 feet north of Neal Street from <br />the C-C (Central Commercial) to PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development-Open Space, Parks and Recreation) or to <br />any other zoning district consistent with the General <br />Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned C-C (Central Commercial) and O <br />(Office) Districts; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated July 8, 1981 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time <br />the public was given the opportunity to comment on <br />the environmental impacts of the proposed development <br />plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated <br />negative declarations and environmental impact reports; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there may be significant impacts upon the <br />environment but that conditions of approval would render <br />these potential impacts insignificant.. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />- RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the Mitigated Negative <br />Declaration prepared for case PUD-81-28, subject to <br />mitigating conditions shown in Resolution No. 2082. <br />
