PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON - COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 2081 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE AXIOM GROUP AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-81-28 WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 28, 1981 the Planning Commission received a proposed mitigated negative declaration for development plan approval of an approximately 70,000 sq, ft. commercial/office development to be located between First Street and the SPRR right-of-way from Angela Street to the extension of Bernal Avenue and between Neal Street, Angela Street, the SPRR right-of-way and a line approximately 250 feet east of Main Street, and rezoning of the site to PUD-Commercial/Offices, also to rezone the Delucchi and Wayside Parks located on the west side of First Street between Angela Street and a point approximately 350 feet north of Neal Street from the C-C (Central Commercial) to PUD (Planned Unit Development-Open Space, Parks and Recreation) or to any other zoning district consistent with the General Plan; and WHEREAS, the property is zoned C-C (Central Commercial) and O (Office) Districts; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated July 8, 1981 and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there may be significant impacts upon the environment but that conditions of approval would render these potential impacts insignificant.. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON - RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Recommends approval of the Mitigated Negative Declaration prepared for case PUD-81-28, subject to mitigating conditions shown in Resolution No. 2082.
