PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2087 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING <br />DENIAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR <br />R. G. VANDENBERGHE AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-81-5 <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of October 28, 1981, the Planning <br />Commission considered the Initial Study and <br />Negative Declaration prepared for case GP-81-5, <br />application of R. G. Vandenberghe for a general plan <br />amendment to change the land use designation of a <br />10,500 sq. ft, lot located on the south side of Happy <br />Valley Road, bounded by the Southern Pacific Railroad <br />tracks on the east and Sunol Boulevard on the west from <br />"Open Space" to "Office" or to any other land use <br />designation found appropriate by the City; and <br />WHEREAS, a representative of the homeowners association in <br />the area expressed the opinion that the land is not <br />appropriate for office development, had concerns with <br />additional traffic in the area and opposition to the <br />proposal as a whole; and <br />WHEREAS, this testimony was considered by the Planning Commission. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />recommends denial of the Negative Declaration of <br />case GP-81-5, application of R. G. Vandenberghe <br />Section 2.
