PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />~' COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2089 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING <br />APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED <br />FOR STONESON DEVELOPMENT COMPANY AS FILED UNDER <br />THEIR APPLICATION GP-81-6 <br />WHEREAS, Stoneson Development Company has applied for a general <br />plan amendment to change the land use designation of <br />an approximately 6.6 acre site located on Stonedale <br />Drive, between Stoneridge Drive on the north and I-680 <br />on the east from Freeway Interchange and Open Space <br />(Public Health and Safety) to High Density Residential <br />or to any other land .use designation found appropriate <br />by the City; and <br />WHEREAS, at it smeeting of October 28, 1981 the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed negative declaration for case <br />GP-81-6; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated October 22, 1981 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated <br />negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds the proposed application <br />(GP-81-6) would not have any significant adverse effects <br />on the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Approves the negative declaration for case GP-81-6, <br />application of Stoneson Development Company for a general <br />plan amendment. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 28th day of October 1981 by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, Wilson and <br />Chairperson Getty <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />
