PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON "- COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 2091 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOP4MENDING THE STAFF REPORT OF OCTOBER 14, 1981 CONCERNING THE USE OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF ROSE AVEDIUE AND PETERS AVENUE BE RECOMMENDED FOR APPROVAL WHEREAS, at their meeting of August 25, 1981, the City Council considered the sale of the approximately 4800 sq. ft. City-owned site located at the northeast corners of Peters Avenue and Rose Avenue; and WHEREAS, this property was acquired by the City in conjunction with the extension of Peters Avenue; and WHEREAS, this matter came before the Council because a local builder had offered to buy the property as the site for a small office building; and WHEREAS, the Council decided not to sell the property but in doing so, referred the matter to the Planning Commission for consideration and recommendation with regard to its appropriateness as part of an assessment district. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. That the 4800 sq. ft. City-owned site located on the northeast corners of Peters Avenue and Rose Avenue is a logical site for inclusion within a parking assessment district should it be formed within the block bounded by Rose Avenue, Peters Avenue, Division Street and Main Street. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton at its special meeting of October 29, 1981 by the following vote: AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey and Chairperson Getty NOES: None ABSENT: Commissioner Wilson ABSTAIN: None DATE: October 29, 1981 ATTEST: Robert J.
