PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2097 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A PREZONING AS <br />FILED BY THE CITY OF PLEASANTON UNDER CASE <br />RZ-81-10 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to prezone <br />(Annexation No. 83) approximately 23 acres located on the <br />north side of the Arroyo Mocho immediately easterly <br />of and adjacent to the present City limit line <br />approximately 2,000 feet west of E1 Charro Road <br />to any zoning district consistent with the General Plan; and <br />WHEP,EAS, whereas the Planning Commission previously held a <br />duly noticed public hearing at which time they recommended <br />the property be prezoned to PUD-Industrial zoning; and <br />WHEREAS, there was a public outcry against this zoning at the <br />time the City Council had their public hearing requesting <br />PUD-Industrial zoning not be adopted for the property; and <br />~" WHEREAS, the City Council sent this matter back to the Planning <br />Commission for a second review and reconsideration; and <br />WHEREAS, a second Planning Commission public hearing was held <br />on November 12, 1981 for the girpose of considering <br />prezoning of the property to other than the PUD-Industrial <br />zoning district. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends that the 23 acres <br />located on the north side of the Arroyo Mocho immediately <br />easterly of and adjacent to the present City limit line <br />approximately 2,000 feet west of E1 Charro Road be prezoned <br />to the "A" (Agricultural) District. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. _ <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 12th day of November 198E by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, Wilson and <br />Chairperson Getty. <br />NOES: None <br />~-- ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: November 12, 1981 <br />
