CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-41 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DIRECTING STAFF TO WORK WITH <br /> PT~ASANTON CULTURAL ARTS COUNCIL TO <br /> DEVELOP AN "ART IN PUBLIC PLACES" <br /> PROGRAM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 17 1989, the City Manager <br /> presented a request from the Pleasanton Cultural <br /> Arts Council requesting the City Council to direct <br /> the City staff to work with the Pleasanton Cultural <br /> Arts Council to establish a program for "Art in <br /> Public Places; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The City Council instructs the staff to work with <br /> members of the Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council to <br /> develop an "Art in Public Places" program to <br /> recommend to the City Council. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 17, 1989 BY THE FOLLOWING <br /> VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: KENNETH R.
