PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />~-- <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2511 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR A PRE- <br />SCHOOL IN THE LYNNWOOD METHODIST CHURCH/PEGGY LUDWIG <br />AND JANELLE PFTESTER AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-84-35 <br />WHEREAS, The preschool in the Lynnwood Methodist Church/Peggy <br />Ludwig and Janelle Pfiester have applied for a condi- <br />tional use permit to allow the re-establishment of a <br />preschool at 4444 Black Avenue; and <br />V7HEREAS, Zoning for the property is P (Public and Institution- <br />al) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of August 8, 1984 <br />the Planning Commission considered all testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City <br />staff concerning this matter; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the proposed <br />location of the conditional use is in accordance <br />with the objectives of the Zoning Ordinance and the <br />purposes oP the district in which the site is located; <br />and that the proposed location of the conditional use <br />and the conditions under which it will be operated or <br />maintained will not be detrimental to the public <br />health, safety or welfare or be materially injurious <br />to properties or improvements in the vicinity; and <br />that the proposed conditional use will comply with <br />each of the applicable provisions of the Zoning <br />Ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves case UP-84-35, application of Peggy Ludwig <br />and Janelle Pfiester et al as herein described subject <br />to the following conditions: <br />1, That this use permit is grantee <br />property located at 4444 Black <br />of a preschool/day care center <br />72 children. <br />2. That the hours of operation of <br />6:45 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., Monday <br />i solely for the <br />Avenue for operation <br />for a maximum of <br />the school shall be <br />through Friday only. <br />That the applicants shall apply for and secure <br />all licensing required for the school from the <br />State of California and any other required licens- <br />ing agencies. <br />4. That the applicant be aware that the zoning of <br />the subject site does not allow the keeping of <br />animals except for a limited number of household <br />pets. <br />
