PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2518 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DENYING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR <br />KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-84-31 <br />WHEREAS, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Tancor Lease have applied <br />for conditional use permit approval to allow for a <br />drive-through sales window and related facilities at an <br />existing restaurant located at 1803 Santa Rita Road; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Central Commercial District; and <br />WHEREAS. this matter was first considered <br />Planning Commission suggested at <br />applicant consider relocating th <br />through window to the north side <br />because of concerns with traffic <br />Road; and <br />in <br />th <br />=_ir <br />of <br />on <br />June 1984 and the <br />st time that the <br />proposed drive <br />the restaurant <br />and off Santa Rita <br />WHEREAS, the applicant revised the plan to show the removal of <br />three parking spaces and the existing trellis on the <br />north side of the building to accommodate the <br />drive-through facility; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 12, <br />1984 the Planning Commission considered the revised <br />plans and proposal of the applicant and could not make <br />the findings required to grant approval of this <br />conditional use permit. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Denies case UP-84-31, application of Kentucky Fried <br />Chicken for a conditional use permit to allow the <br />addition of a drive-through facility to the Kentucky <br />Fried Chicken restaurant located at 1803 Santa Rita <br />Road because findings required to grant this use permit <br />cannot be made. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after <br />its passage and adoption unless appealed. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 12TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br />- 1 - <br />
