PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2520 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING DOWNTOWN PARKING REQUIREMENTS BE <br />PUT IN ABEYANCE FOR ONE YEAR (CASE RZ-83-8) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the <br />provisions of the zoning ordinance with respect to <br />parking requirements in the Central Business District of <br />downtown Pleasanton; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 12, <br />1984 the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that there is <br />presently no parking problem in the described area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING; <br />Section 1. Recommends to the City Council that there be no <br />parking requirements for the downtown area of Pleasanton <br />for one year and at the end of that period of time the <br />matter shall be reviewed to determine whether this <br />ruling shall remain in effect. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON HE 12TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Innes, Lindsey and Chairman Doherty <br />NOES: Commissioner Wilson <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: September 1, 1984 <br />ATTEST: <br />~^-t- <br />Robert J'.
