,_._ PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2521 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASES GP-84-20 & PUD-84-8 FILED BY THE CATHOLIC BISHOP 0 OAKLAND/EVH PARTNERSHIP Whereas, the Catholic Bishop of Oakland/EVH Partnership has applied to amend the General Plan Land Use Element of the General Plan from "High Density Residential to Commercial and Offices" and for rezoning and development plan approval for an office/retail commercial complex of approximately 169,700 sq. ft. on an approximately 13 acre site located at the southwest corner of the intersection of the railroad tracks of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company and Bernal Avenue; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-High Density Residential District; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 12, '_ 1984 the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff concerning this application as well as the environmental impacts as outlined on the Initial Study prepared by the City Staff. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Recommends approval of the negative declaration prepared for cases GP-84-10 an PUD-84-8 as herein described inasmuch as the Land Use and zoning changes proposed would have an insignificant effect on the environment. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
