,_._ PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2521 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASES GP-84-20 & PUD-84-8 <br />FILED BY THE CATHOLIC BISHOP 0 OAKLAND/EVH PARTNERSHIP <br />Whereas, the Catholic Bishop of Oakland/EVH Partnership has <br />applied to amend the General Plan Land Use Element of <br />the General Plan from "High Density Residential to <br />Commercial and Offices" and for rezoning and development <br />plan approval for an office/retail commercial complex of <br />approximately 169,700 sq. ft. on an approximately 13 <br />acre site located at the southwest corner of the <br />intersection of the railroad tracks of the Southern <br />Pacific Transportation Company and Bernal Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-High Density Residential District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 12, <br />'_ 1984 the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application as well as the <br />environmental impacts as outlined on the Initial Study <br />prepared by the City Staff. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the negative declaration <br />prepared for cases GP-84-10 an PUD-84-8 as herein <br />described inasmuch as the Land Use and zoning changes <br />proposed would have an insignificant effect on the <br />environment. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 12THE DAY OF SEPTEMBER 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Innes, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman <br />Doherty <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: September 12, 1984 <br />- 1 - <br />
