PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2532 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY <br />FOR CASES GP-84-12 AND PUD-84-9 <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company has applied to amend the <br />General Plan Land Use Element designation of the 0.647 <br />acre site from General and Limited Industrial to <br />Commercial and Offices and for PUD zoning and <br />development plan approval for a single-story <br />approximately 3,350 sq. ft. commercial structure and <br />related facilities on the 0.647 acre site located at the <br />northwest corner of the intersection of Owens Court and <br />Owens Drive located at the northwest corner of the <br />intersection of Owens Court and Owens Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is I-G (General Industrial) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 26, <br />1984 the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application as well as the <br />environmental impacts as outlined on the Initial Study <br />prepared by the City Staff. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the negative declaration <br />prepared for cases GP-84-12 and PUD-84-9 as herein <br />described inasmuch as the Land Use, zoning and <br />development plan proposed would have an insignificant <br />effect on the environment. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
