PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2533 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A GENERAL <br />PLAN AMENDMENT FILED BY PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY <br />OF AMERICA UNDER CASE GP-84-12 <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company has applied to amend the <br />General Plan Land Use Element designation of the 0.647 <br />acre site from General and Limited Industrial to <br />Commercial and Offices located at the northwest corner <br />of the intersection of Owens Court and Owens Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is I-G (General Industrial) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 26, <br />1984 the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits, recommendations of the <br />City staff; and <br />-- WHEREAS, at this same duly noticed public hearing the Planning <br />Commission recommended approval of the negative <br />declaration prepared for this case. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of case GP-84-12, application for <br />a general plan amendment to change the general plan land <br />use designation of the 0.647 acre site located at the <br />northwest corner of Owens Drive and Owens Court from <br />"General and Limited Industrial" to "Commercial and <br />Offices." <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
