PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2535 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR ALAMEDA COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL <br />AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT - ZONE 7 <br />WHEREAS, Alameda County Flood Control et al to amed the General <br />Plan Land Ue Element designation of an approximately 3.3 <br />acre site from Open Space (Parks and Recreation) to <br />Community Facilities (Public and Institutional) located <br />at the northeast corner of the intersection of Pakside <br />Drive and Hopyard Road; and for rezoning the <br />approximately 3.3 acr site from the "A" (Atricultural) <br />District to the "P" (Public and Institutional) District. <br />The property is located at the the northeast corner of <br />the intersection of Parkside Drive and Hopyard Road; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 26, <br />1984 the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning these applications as well as the <br />environmental impacts as outlined on the Initial Study <br />prepared by the City Staff. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the negative declaration <br />prepared for cases GP-84-8 and RZ-84-15 as herein <br />described inasmuch as the proposed land use change and <br />rezoning would have an insignificant effect on the <br />environment. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
