PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2536 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A GENERAL <br />PLAN AMENDMENT FILED BY ZONE 7 OF THE ALAMEDA COUNTY <br />FLOOD CONTROL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT AS <br />FILED UNDER CASE GP-84-8 <br />WHEREAS, Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation <br />District - Zone 7 have applied for a General Plan Land <br />Use Element designation of the approximately 3.3 acre <br />site from Open Space (Parks and Recreation) to Community <br />Facilities (Public and Institutional) located at the <br />northeast corner of the intersection of Parkside Drive <br />and Hopyard Road. Currently zoning of the property is <br />"A" (Atricultural) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 26, <br />1984 the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits, recommendations of the <br />City staff; and <br />WHEREAS, at this same duly noticed public hearing the Planning <br />Commission recommended approval of the negative <br />declaration prepared for this case. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of case GP-84-8, application for <br />a general plan amendment to change the general plan land <br />use designation of the 3.3 acre site located at the <br />northeast corner of the intersection of Parkside Drive <br />and Hopyard Road from Open Space (Parks nd Recreation) <br />to Community Facilities (Public and Institutional) <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
