PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2543 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AMADOR <br />SAVINGS AND LOAN AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-84-49 <br />WHEREAS, Amador Savings and Loan have applied for a conditional <br />use permit to allow the establishment and operation of <br />savings and loan offices at 2911 Hopyard Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is CN (Neighborhood <br />Commercial)-District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 10, 1984 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found a) that the proposed <br />location of the conditional use is in accord with the <br />objectives of the ordinance code and the purposes of the <br />Neighborhood Commercial district in which the site is <br />located; b) that the proposed location of the <br />conditional use and the conditions under which it would <br />be operated or maintained will not be detrimental to the <br />public health, safety or welfare, or be materially <br />injurious to properties or improvements in the vicinity; <br />and c) that the proposed conditional use will comply <br />with each of the applicable provisions of the ordinance <br />code. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves case UP-84-49, application of Amador <br />Savings and Loan for conditional use permit to establish <br />a savings and loan branch office at 2911 Hopyard Road <br />southeast of the intersection of Hopyard Road and Valley <br />Avenue subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That the development be substantially as shown on <br />the site plan, elevations and landscape plan, <br />Exhibit A, on file with the Planning Department. <br />2. That no flags, banners, pinwheels, pennants or <br />similar attention attracting devices shall be <br />utilized on the site. <br />
