~- PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2545 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE MITIGATED <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR THE APPLICATIONS OF <br />CALLAHAN-PENTZ PROPERTIES AS FILED UNDER CASES GP-84-13 <br />AND PUD-84-14 <br />WHEREAS, Callahan-Pentz Properties et al have applied for an <br />amendment to the Land Use and Circulation Element of the <br />General Plan and PUD rezoning to reconfigure the land <br />use designation of the approximately 62 acre site <br />located at the northwest corner of Santa Rita Road and <br />West Las Positas Boulevard and to show a <br />northwest/southwest trending thoroughfare in that area; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the property is currently designated "Public and <br />Institutional", "Commercial and Offices" and "High <br />Density Residential" and zoned "P" (Public and <br />Institutional), PUD (PLanned Unit Development) Office <br />and PUD (Planned Unit Development) RM-2500 (maximum one <br />unit/each 2500 sq. ft. of lot area); and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October l0, 1984 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application as well as the environmental <br />impacts as outlined on the Initial Study prepared by the <br />City Staff. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the mitigated negative <br />declaration prepared for these cases as herein described <br />inasmuch as conditions imposed in project approvals <br />would reduce any potentially significant environmental <br />effect to insignificant levels. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
