<br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2546 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A GENERAL PLAN <br />AMENDMENT FOR CALLAHAN PENTZ ET AL AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />GP-84-13 <br />WHEREAS, Callahan Pentz Properties et al have applied for an <br />amendment to the Land Use Circulation Element of the <br />General Plan to reconfigure the land use designation of <br />the approximately 61 acre site located at the northwest <br />corner of Santa Rita Road and West Las Positas Boulevard <br />and to show a northwest/southeast trending thoroughfare <br />in that area; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is currently designated "Public and <br />Institutional," "Commercial and Offices" and "High <br />Density Residential" on the General Plan. These <br />designations would remain but would be reconfigured to <br />some extent; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 10, 1984 <br />the Planning Commission after considering all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this proposal, recommended <br />approval of the mitigated negative declaration prepared <br />for this case; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission concurred with the staff report <br />and found that the proposed general plan amendment would <br />create more rational boundaries for the commercial and <br />offices and high density residential designations on the <br />subject property. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING; <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of case GP-84-13 to reconfigure <br />the general plan land use designation of the <br />approximately 62 acre site located at the northwest <br />corner of Santa Rita Road and West Las Positas Boulevard and <br />to include a thoroughfare in this area subject to <br />conditions shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made <br />part of this case by reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 10TH DAY OF OCTOBER 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE; <br />
