PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2551 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RELATING TO PROPERTY OWNED BY FRANKS <br />WHEREAS, the City received a letter from Keith Fraser of the law <br />firm of Varni, Fraser, Hartwell, McNichols and Rogers <br />which requests that the City determine that a retirement <br />facility composed of one and two bedroom dwelling units, <br />a common dining area, recreational facilities, beauty <br />shop, barber shop and sundry store is commercial in <br />nature so that it may be constructed on an <br />approximately 2.5 acre site located at the southwest <br />corner of Stoneridge Drive and Pleasant Hill Road; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the decision of the <br />Zoning Administrator determining that the proposed use <br />is residential in nature and would require a General <br />Plan land use and zoning change. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING; <br />Section 1. Concurs with the City Staff that the changes proposed <br />would be residential in nature and a General Plan and <br />zoning change would have to take place prior to <br />development of a retirement facility as described. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON HE 10TH DAY OF OCTOBER 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Innes, Lindsey and Chairman Doherty <br />NOES: Commissioner Wilson <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: October 10, 1984 <br />ATTEST: <br />ate- <br />Robert Harris, Secretary <br />
