PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2571 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR PONDEROSA HOMES AS FILED UNDER <br />CASE PUD-84-17 <br />WHEREAS, Ponderosa HOmes has applied for PUD (Planed Unit <br />Development) zoning and development plan approval to <br />construct a 259 unit single-family residential project <br />on an aprpoximately 51 acre site located on the west <br />side of Camino Segura, between the residences on the <br />north side of Hansen Drive and the Pleasanton Canal; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is currently zoned R-1-6500 (Single-family <br />Residential) and "P" (Public and Institutional) <br />Districts; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of November 28, <br />-- 1984 the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application as well as the <br />environmental impacts as outlined on the Initial Study <br />prepared by the City Staff. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the negative declaration <br />prepared for case PUD-84-17 as herein described <br />inasmuch as the zoning and development plan proposed <br />would have an insignificant effect on the environment. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
