PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2572 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DENYING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF <br />PONDEROSA HOMES AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-84-17 <br />WHEREAS, Ponderosa Homes has applied for PUD (Planed Unit <br />Development) zoning and development plan approval to <br />construct a 259 unit single-family residential project <br />on an approximately 51 acre site located on the west <br />side of Camino Segura, between the residences on the <br />north side of Hansen Drive and the Pleasanton Canal; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is currently zoned R-1-6500 (Single-family <br />Residential) and "P" (Public and Institutional) <br />Districts; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of November 28, <br />1984 the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application and recommended <br />approval of the negative declaration prepared by the <br />City Staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission expressed concern with density of the <br />proposed project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1 <br />Section 2 <br />Denies case PUD-84-17, application <br />as herein described inasmuch at it is <br />Planning Commission that the project <br />dense. <br />of Ponderosa Homes <br />the opinion of the <br />as proposed is too <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
