PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2574 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR EQUITY ENTERPRISES AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE GP-84-14 <br />WHEREAS, Equity Enterprises and the City of Pleasanton have <br />applied for a general plan amendment to redesignate <br />properties on the north side of Stanley Boulevard <br />between the Mobil Oil Company service station located at <br />1024 Main Street and the 13.65 acre Madden property <br />located immediately east of 3963 Stanley Boulevard from <br />Medium Density Residential to High Density Residential; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of December 12, <br />1984 the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application as well as the <br />environmental impacts as outlined on the Initial Study <br />prepared by the City Staff. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the negative declaration <br />prepared for case GP-84-14 as herein described inasmuch <br />as the general plan amendment proposed would have an <br />insignificant effect on the environment. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
