CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-24 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF <br /> PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR PROPOSED <br /> BICYCLE LANES ON WEST LAS POSITAS <br /> BOULEVARD FROM FOOTHILL ROAD EAST TO <br /> MUIRWOOD DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on December 15, 1989, staff prepared a bicycle <br /> project to present to the Metropolitan <br /> Transportation Commission (MTC) for consideration <br /> to obtain Transportation Development Act (TDA) <br /> funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the MTC TDA Article 3 funding requires each agency <br /> applying for monies to obtain approval from the <br /> City Council in order to be eligible to receive <br /> funding; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Authorizes and approves the preparation of plans <br /> and specifications for the West Las Positas <br /> Boulevard Bicycle Lanes from Foothill Road East to <br /> Muirwood Drive. <br /> <br />Section 2: Approves the acceptance of Metropolitan <br /> Transportation Commission (MTC) Transportation <br /> Development Act (TDA) Article 3 monies to fund the <br /> project. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
