CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-21 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR <br /> MISSION HILLS PARK PHASE II, PROJECT <br /> NO.867042, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS <br /> PAYMENT TO WATKIN & BORTOLUSSI, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by Watkin & Bortolussi, Inc. on the <br /> public improvements for Mission Hills <br /> Park Phase II, Project No. 867042, has <br /> been satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the public improvements for Mission <br />Hills Park Phase II is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br /> a warrant in the amount of $4,056.75 in favor of <br /> Watkin & Bortolussi, Inc. in satisfaction of the <br /> final progress payment for the above-accepted work <br /> on Project No. 867042. Ten percent (10%) of the <br /> total contract or $38,786.33 will be retained until <br /> thirty (30) days after filing of the Notice of <br /> Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
