PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2604 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE A GENERAL PLAN <br />AMENDMENT FOR THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />GP-85-1 <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the Citizens' Advisory Committee's <br />recommendations concerning possible downtown zoning <br />changes, the Planning Commission initiated a General <br />Plan amendment to change approximately 2.25 acre site <br />located at 553, 539 and 571 St. John Street from <br />Commercial and Offices to High Density Residential; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of February 13, <br />1985 the Planning Commission recommended approval of the <br />negative declaration prepared by staff after considering <br />all public testimony, relevant exhibits and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this <br />application. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends that the property located at 553, 539 and <br />571 St. John Street be changed from Commercial and <br />Offices to High Density Residential. <br />Section 2. <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
