CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-20 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF SYCAMORE WATER RESERVOIR <br /> AND APPROVALOFAMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE <br /> CONTRACT WITH S. J. AMOROSO CONSTRUCTION <br /> COMPANY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by S. J. Amoroso Construction Company, Inc. on <br /> the eight million gallon Sycamore Water Reservoir <br /> has been satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 to the original contract with S. J. <br /> Amoroso Construction Company, Inc. has been drafted <br /> which clearly defines the final contract amount and <br /> the method of payment for minor items not yet <br /> completed; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the Sycamore Water Reservoir is <br /> hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: Approves Amendment No. 1 to the contract with S. <br /> J. Amoroso Construction Company, Inc., a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> this reference. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: Authorizes the Mayor to executed the above- <br /> described Amendment No. 1. <br /> <br />Section 5: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
