- PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2620 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING ADOPTION OF THE RECOMMENDATIONS <br />MADE IN THE VINEYARD AVENUE STUDY <br />WHEREAS, the City Council commissioned a study of the Vineyard <br />Avenue land uses specifically with regard to traffic <br />impacts as a result of past testimony concerning traffic <br />relating to new and old development in the area; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of February 27, <br />1985 the Planning Commission was furnished with a copy <br />of the completed report; and <br />WHEREAS, at this duly noticed public hearing the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this study. <br />NOW,THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends adoption of the Vineyard Avenue/Vintage <br />Hills Circulation and Land Use Study and more <br />specifically that no new development be allowed until <br />such time as Bernal Avenue is connected to Valley Avenue <br />(not requiring the southern connection), that the Remen <br />Tract be PUD-Medium Density Residential. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 27TH DAY OF FEBRUARY 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman <br />Doherty <br />NOES: Commissioner Innes <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Res. 2620 <br />2/27/85 <br />DATE: February 27, 19875 <br />
