- PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2621 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING THAT PLEASANTON'S SPHERE OF <br />INFLUENCE BE INCREASED <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of February 27, <br />1985 the Planning Commission reviewed and made a <br />recommendation concerning the newly completed Vineyard <br />Avenue Land Use Study; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission would like the area to be <br />maintained as Agriculture and Grazing until such time as <br />the State of California completes the future realignment <br />of Highway 84. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends that the City of Pleasanton prepare an <br />application for submission to LAFCO requesting that the <br />City's Sphere of Influence be expanded to include the <br />vacant flat lands located adjacent to the future <br />configuration of Highway 84. This area is bounded by <br />the Arroyo del Valle to the north, the Murray Township <br />line to the east, the CLC property to the west and <br />southern property line of lot 30 to the south. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 27TH DAY OF FEBRUARY 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Innes, Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and <br />Chairman Doherty <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: February 27,1985 <br />ATTEST: <br />~ , <br />Robert J. rris, Secretary <br />
