PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2653 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-85-6, <br />APPLICATION OF J. GORDON BINGHAM <br />WHEREAS, J. Gordon Bingham has applied for development plan <br />approval to construct an automobile dealership with a <br />one-story, 14,200 sq. ft. automobile sales and service <br />building on an approximately 2.3 acre portion of an <br />approximately 49 acre site located on the northwest side <br />of Santa Rita Road between Old Santa Rita Road to the <br />west and Highway I-580 to the north; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Central Commercial District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of May 8, 1985 the <br />Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found the proposal to be <br />consistent with the zoning and general plan land use <br />designation for the subject site. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the Case PUD-85-6, <br />application of J. Gordon Bingham for development plan <br />approval to construct an automobile dealership with a <br />one-story, 14,200 sq. ft. automobile sales and service <br />building on an approximately 2.3 acre portion of an <br />approximately 49 acre site located on the northwest side <br />of Santa Rita Road between Old Santa Rita Road to the <br />west and Highway I-580 to the north subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1. That the development be substantially as shown on <br />the development plan, Exhibit A, on file with the <br />Planning Department. <br />2. The common driveway shown on the southeast property <br />line shall be constructed to its full 30 ft. width <br />by the developer as part of the initial on-site <br />improvements. This driveway shall have a <br />street-type opening with curb radii of 15 ft. <br />minimum. This driveway shall be for right turns <br />
