PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2665 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING A USE <br />PERMIT FOR CARLOS QUIROS AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-85-17 <br />WHEREAS, Carlos Quiros has applied for a conditional use permit <br />to operate an upholstery shop at 57 California Avenue; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Commercial Service District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of June 26, 1985 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found a) that the proposed <br />location of the conditional use is in accord with the <br />objectives of the ordinance code and the purposes of the <br />district in which the site is located; b) that the <br />proposed location of the conditional use and the <br />conditions under which it would be operated or <br />maintained will not be detrimental to the public health, <br />safety or welfare, or be materially injurious to <br />properties or improvements in the vicinity; and c) that <br />the proposed conditional use will comply with each of <br />the applicable provisions of the ordinance code. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves case UP-85-17, application of Carlos Quiros, <br />for a conditional use permit to operate an upholstery <br />shop at 57 California Avenue subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. That this use permit is solely for the establishment <br />and operation of a 1400 sq. ft. upholstery shop as <br />shown on the site plan, Exhibit A, on file with the <br />Planning Department. <br />2. All employees shall utilize the parking area located <br />to the rear of the building. <br />That the development is subject to all the <br />conditions of approval for case PUD-81-25. <br />
