PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2670 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE GP-85-7 FOR <br />CHRIS BERATLIS, AMADOR VALLEY SAVINGS AND LOAN AND THE <br />PLEASANTON SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, Pleasanton School District, Amador Savings and Loan and <br />Chris Beratlis have applied for an amendment to the Land <br />Use Element of the General Plan to redesignate an <br />approximately 1.2 acre site from Low Density Residential <br />to Medium Density Residential and a 1.2 acre site from <br />Medium Density Residential to Low Density Residential, <br />the 2.4 acre site located on the north side of Crellin <br />Road approximately 1000 ft. east of Madeira Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, the proponents have also applied to rezoned an <br />approximately 22.3 acre site from the "P° (Public and <br />Institutional) District to the "A" (Agricultural) <br />District and the R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) <br />District and to redesignate the 1.2 acre site from the <br />"A" to the R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) District <br />consistent with the proposed General Plan amendment; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of July 24, 1985 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning these applications and recommended approval <br />of a negative declaration of environmental impacts for <br />them; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found the proposed changes <br />consistent with the goals and policies of the General <br />Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of GP-85-7, application of <br />Pleasanton School District, Amador Savings and Loan and <br />Chris Beratlis for an amendment to the Land Use Element <br />of the General Plan to redesignate an approximately 1.2 <br />acre site from Low Density Residential to Medium Density <br />Residential and a 1.2 acre site from Medium Density <br />Residential to Low Density Residential, the 2.4 acre <br />site located on the north side of Crellin Road <br />approximately 1000 ft. east of Madeira Drive. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
