PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2671 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE RZ-85-7 FOR <br />CHRIS BERATLIS, AMADOR VALLEY SAVINGS AND LOAN AND THE <br />PLEASANTON SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, the Pleasanton School District, Amador Savings and Loan <br />and Chris Beratlis have applied to rezone an <br />approximately 22.3 acre site from the "P" (Public and <br />Institutional) District to the "A" (Agricultural) <br />District and the R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) <br />District and to redesignate the 1.2 acre site from the <br />"A" to the R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) District <br />consistent with the proposed General Plan amendment; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of July 24, 1985 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application and recommended approval of <br />a negative declaration of environmental impacts for it; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found the proposed changes <br />consistent with the goals and policies and proposed land <br />use designation of the General Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of RZ-85-7, application of <br />Pleasanton School District, Amador Savings and Loan and <br />Chris Beratlis for rezoning as follows subject to the <br />conditions shocm herein: <br />The 1.2 acres comprising of the top of a knoll, <br />containing the Beratlis residence to the east, and the <br />relatively steep slopes forming its sides to the "A" <br />(Agricultural) District; the 22.2 acre site, the balance <br />of the former school site and the southwesterly portion <br />of the Beratlis property to the R-1-6500 (Single-family <br />Residential) District subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. That the exact boundaries and acreages of the lands <br />proposed for swapping be determined at the time a <br />tentative subdivision map is approved for the former <br />school site property. <br />
