PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2672 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR CASE PUD-85-9, APPLICATION OF GEF <br />FINANCIAL CORPORATION <br />WHEREAS, GEF Financial Corporation has applied for rezoning and <br />development plan approval to construct a two and three <br />story, 132 unit retirement hotel complex on an <br />approximately 2.5 acre site located on the southeast <br />corner of Foothill Road and Stoneridge Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Commercial Office District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of July 24, 1985 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission concurred with the Initial Study <br />that a negative declaration of environmental impacts is <br />appropriate for this application. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for Case PUD-85-9, application of GEF Financial <br />Corporation for rezoning and development plan approval <br />to construct a two and three story, 132 unit retirement <br />hotel complex on an approximately 2.5 acre site located <br />on the southeast corner of Foothill Road and Stoneridge <br />Drive. <br />
