PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2678 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR ESREY <br />SUPPLY CO., INC. FILED UNDER CASE UP-85-26 <br />WHEREAS, Esrey Supply Co., Inc. has applied for a conditional use <br />permit to allow a wholesale construction materials and <br />supply operation at 2126 Rheem Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Industrial District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of July 24, 1985 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found a) that the proposed <br />location of the conditional use is in accord with the <br />objectives of the ordinance code and the purposes of the <br />district in which the site is located; b) that the <br />proposed location of the conditional use and the <br />conditions under which it would be operated or <br />maintained will not be detrimental to the public health, <br />safety or welfare, or be materially injurious to <br />properties or improvements in the vicinity; and c) that <br />the proposed conditional use will comply with each of <br />the applicable provisions of the ordinance code. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves case UP-85-26, application of Esrey Supply <br />Co., Inc. for a conditional use permit to allow a <br />wholesale construction materials and supply operation at <br />2126 Rheem Drive subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That this permit is granted for the property located <br />at 2126 Rheem Drive only. <br />2. That the applicant be prohibited from utilizing any <br />form of advertising that represents the <br />establishment as open to the public. Failure to <br />comply will result in the revocation of the subject <br />use permit. <br />3. That if signing for the development is desired, a <br />comprehensive signing program shall be submitted to <br />the City for consideration under a separate <br />
