PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2684a <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR <br />RICHARD GUASCO AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-85-27 <br />WHEREAS, Richard Guasco and Callahan Pentz Properties have <br />applied for conditional use permit to operate an <br />automobile wrecking facility on an approximately 1.4 <br />acre site located at 3862 and 3876 Old Santa Rita Road; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-S (Commercial Service) with <br />an application under consideration for PUD (Commercial <br />Service) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of July 24, 1985 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found a) that the proposed <br />location of the conditional use is in accord with the <br />objectives of the ordinance code and the purposes of the <br />zoning district in which the site is located - The site <br />has been rezoned to specifically allow this use; b) that <br />the proposed location of the conditional use and the <br />conditions under which it would be operated or <br />maintained will not be detrimental to the public health, <br />safety or welfare, or be materially injurious to <br />properties or improvements in the vicinity - conditions <br />proposed as part of the PUD-85-14 application relating <br />to site development and as conditioned herein relating <br />to operational characteristics preclude detrimental <br />effects given it„ location in a heavy <br />commercial/industrial area; and c) that the proposed <br />conditional use will comply with each of the applicable <br />provisions of the ordinance code - As proposed and <br />conditioned, each applicable provision has been <br />satisfied. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves case UP-85-27, application of Richard Guasco <br />and Callahan Pentz Properties as herein described <br />subject to the following conditions: <br />1.
