PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2685 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASES UP-85-19 AND Z-85-176 FOR <br />PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company has applied for design <br />review and conditional use permit approval to construct <br />and operate an interim heliport for private use on a <br />portion of an approximately 2.3 acre site located on the <br />southeast corner of Owens Drive and Chabot Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of August 14, 1985 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning these applications as well as the <br />environmental impacts as outlined on the Initial Study; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission concurred with the Initial Study <br />that a mitigated negative declaration of environmental <br />impacts is appropriate for these proposals inasmuch as <br />conditions imposed in project approval would reduce any <br />potentially significant adverse effect to an <br />insignificant level. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves the mitigated negative declaration prepared <br />for Cases UP-85-19 and Z-85-176 as herein described. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after <br />its passage and adoption. <br />
