PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2693 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE GP-85-5 <br />WHEREAS, Mildred Teixeira et al has applied for an amendment to <br />the Land Use Element of the General Plan to redesignate <br />an approximately 7.5 acre site from Low Density <br />Residential to Medium Density Residential for the <br />property located on the south side of Vineyard Avenue <br />and east of the terminus of Chardonnay Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of August 28, 1985 the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case GP-85-5, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated August 14,1985 and received the <br />recommendation of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on August 14, <br />1985 and the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there would not be any significant impacts upon the <br />environment by approving the application and recommended <br />adoption of the Negative Declaration prepared for this <br />case. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING; <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the <br />review of the Initial Study and the testimony and <br />documentary evidence presented at the public hearing <br />that there will be no significant adverse impacts on the <br />environment as a result of approval of the subject <br />application. <br />
