PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2700 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASES GP-85-6, GP-85-3 AND <br />PUD-85-7 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for an amendment to <br />the Land Use Element of the General Plan of an <br />approximately 8.86 acre site from Medium Density <br />Residential to High Density Residential for the property <br />located on the north side of Stanley Boulevard between <br />4005 and 4129 Stanley Boulevard; and <br />WHEREAS, John Payne et al has applied to amend the Land Use <br />Element designation of the General Plan for an <br />approximately 2.8 acre site located at 4089 and 4129 <br />Stanley Boulevard; and <br />WHEREAS, John Payne et al has applied for rezoning and <br />development plan approval for the construction of a 38 <br />unit townhouse project on approximately 2.8 acre site <br />located at 4089 and 4129 Stanley Boulevard; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of September 11,1985 the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Cases GP-85-6, GP-85-3 and PUD-85-7; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated September 11, 1985 and received the <br />recommendation of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on September 11, <br />1985 and the public was given the opportunity to comment <br />on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there would not be any significant impacts upon the <br />environment by approving the application and recommended <br />adoption of the Negative Declaration prepared for these <br />cases. <br />
