CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-04 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF BIKE LANES ON WEST LAS <br /> POSITAS BOULEVARD, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL <br /> PROGRESS PAYMENT TO CHRISP COMPANY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by Chrisp Company on the bike lanes on West <br /> Las Positas Boulevard (Santa Rita Road to Tract <br /> 5321, California Place, located east of Melbourne <br /> Court) has been satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the bike lanes on West Las Positas <br /> Boulevard (Santa Rita Road to Tract 5321, <br /> California Place, located east of Melbourne Court) <br /> is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br /> a warrant in the amount of $2,466.00 in favor of <br /> Chrisp Company in satisfaction of the final <br /> progress payment for the above-accepted work on <br /> the bike lanes. Ten percent (10%) of the total <br /> contract or $1,619.10 will be retained until thirty <br /> (30) days after filing of the Notice of <br /> Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: Authorizes the appropriation of an additional <br /> $3,695.00 to cover the cost of the project above <br /> the MTC funding. <br /> <br />Section 4: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 5: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
