All that land bounded as follows: Bernal Avenue on the <br />south, First Street on the east, Ray Street to a point <br />feet east of Main Street on the northeast, then following a <br />line feet east of Main Street northeasterly to Del <br />Valle Parkway, Del Valle Parkway on the north, Peters Avenue <br />or a linear extension of it on the west, and an irregular <br />line one lot deep northwesterly of Old Bernal Avenue, as more <br />precisely shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by this reference. <br />The regulations applicable to the District contained in <br />this Article are in addition to regulations otherwise <br />applicable to the area within the District; provided; <br />however, that where regulations conflict the provisions of <br />this Article shall control. <br />Sec. 2-2.3403 - ADOPTION OF GUIDELINES <br />The City Council following recommendation by the <br />Planning Commission, shall adopt Downtown Pleasanton Design <br />Guidelines for the District. Said Guidelines may be amended <br />from time to time following the same procedure. City Staff, <br />Board of Design Review, Planning Commission, and the City <br />Council shall adhere to the adopted Guidelines in reviewing <br />all applications for permits, licenses, certificates, or <br />other approval or entitlement for use relating to <br />improvements or demolition proposed within the District, and <br />no such applications shall be approved unless consistent with <br />the adopted Guidelines. <br />- 5 - <br />
