Sec. 2-2.3421 -CERTAIN VEHICULAR USES ALONG MAIN <br />STREET PROHIBITED <br />The following vehicle related uses of property and <br />structures along Main Street within the District are not required <br />to make reasonable use of such property or structures, are <br />inconsistent with the architectural character and purpose of the <br />District, and are prohibited: <br />(a) Vehicle ingress onto and egress from property and <br />structures; <br />(b) Parking lots or structures. <br />(c) On-site parking of vehicles closer than fifty (50) <br />feet to the Main Street property line. <br />Sec. 2-2.3422 - SETBACKS PROHIBITED ON MAIN STREET; <br />REQUIRED ELSEWHERE <br />Setback of structures from property lines along Main <br />Street is prohibited. Setback of structures located elsewhere <br />within the District is permitted, and may be required in those <br />cases where the Board of Design REView finds that the <br />architectural character of the District and the built context of <br />the improvement will be enhanced while not depriving the owner of <br />substantially all reasonable use of his property. <br />Sec. 2-2.3423 - HEIGHT OF STRUCTURES <br />No structure within the District shall exceed <br />twenty-five (25) feet in height, except the Board may approve <br />structures with principal frontage on Main Street up to forty <br />(40) feet in height upon findings supported by substantial <br />evidence submitted by the applicant that the proposed project is <br />- 22 - <br />
