CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-01 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO <br /> CUPERTINO ELECTRIC, INC., FOR <br /> ELECTRICAL CONNECTION FOR EMERGENCY <br /> GENERATOR FOR WETJa 5, 6, 7, AND VINEYARD <br /> BOOSTER PUMP STATION, PROJECT NO. 871909 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for <br /> electrical connection for emergency generator for <br /> Wells 5, 6, 7, and Vineyard Booster Pump Station, <br /> Project No. 871909; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37900, et seq., <br /> the City Engineering Services Division advertised <br /> for bids regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on <br /> January 3, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Cupertino Electric, Inc., in the amount <br /> of $46,885.00 was determined to be the lowest <br /> responsible bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> recommended that the bid of Cupertino Electric, <br /> Inc. be accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Cupertino Electric, Inc., in the <br /> amount of $46,885.00, for electrical connection for <br /> emergency generator for Wells 5, 6, 7, and Vineyard <br /> Booster Pump Station, Project No. 871909, is hereby <br /> accepted by the City Council as the lowest <br /> responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Manager is authorized to execute a <br /> contract with Cupertino Electric, Inc. for the <br /> improvements specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
