<br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2718 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE PUD-85-17 FOR HACIENDA <br />GARDEN APARTMENTS <br />WHEREAS, CPP has applied for rezoning and development plan <br />approval to allow the construction of a 412 unit <br />apartment complex on an approximately 16 acre site <br />located on the north side of Andrews Drive between West <br />Las Positas Boulevard and Old Santa Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-RM-2500 District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of October 23, 1985 the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case PUD-85-17; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated October 23, 1985 and received the <br />recommendation of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on October 23, <br />1985 and the public was given the opportunity to comment <br />on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there would not be any significant impacts upon the <br />environment by approving the application and recommended <br />adoption of the Negative Declaration prepared for this <br />case. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING; <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the <br />review of the Initial Study and the testimony and <br />documentary evidence presented at the public hearing <br />that there will be no significant adverse impacts on the <br />environment as a result of approval of the subject <br />application. <br />
