PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2721 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING A <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR NORTHWOOD HOMES AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE UP-85-40 <br />WHEREAS, Northwood Homes, Inc. has applied for a conditional use <br />permit to allow for warehouse uses at 39 California <br />Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-CS District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 23, 1985 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found a) That the proposed <br />location of a conditional use is in accordance with the <br />objectives of this chapter and the purpose of the <br />district in which the site is located; <br />The proposed use, as conditioned, is a business <br />appropriate for the PUD-Commercial Zoning District. The <br />proposed use is compatible and similar to other uses <br />within the complex; <br />b) That the proposed location of the conditional use and <br />the conditions under which it would be operated or <br />maintained will not be detrimental to the public health, <br />safety, or welfare, or be materially injurious to the <br />properties or improvements in the vicinity; <br />The complex was designed with appropriate parking and <br />loading facilities in order to accommodate this type of <br />use and the uses will be subject to relevant <br />requirements of the Building Department and Fire <br />Department; <br />c) That the proposed conditional use will comply with <br />each of the applicable provisions of this chapter; and <br />As proposed and conditioned, each applicable provision <br />will be satisfied. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />
