PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2727 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE PUD-85-2-2D <br />WHEREAS, Val Strough Company has applied for development plan and <br />sign program approval for four auto dealership buildings <br />on a 5.8 acre site located on Rosewood Drive south of <br />I-580 and northwest of Santa Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Central Commercial District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of November 13, 1985 the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case PUD-85-2-2D, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recei1985aandrreceivedtthe <br />Initial Study dated November 13, <br />recommendation of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was helortunNtVetoecomment <br />1985 and the public was given the oPP osaly and <br />on the environmental impacts of the prop <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there would not be any signlicationlandcrecommended <br />environment by approving the app ared for this <br />adoption of the Negative Declaration prep <br />case. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING; <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the <br />review of the Initial Study and the testimony and <br />documentary evidence presented at the public hearing <br />that there will be no significant adverse impacts on the <br />environment as a result of approval of the subject <br />application. <br />
