<br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2730 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A USE PERMIT FILED BY C. <br />SOLARI AND SONS UNDER CASE UP-85-44 <br />WHEREAS, C. Solari and Sons have applied for a conditional use <br />permit to allow for warehousing of construction supplies <br />to be located at 1040 Serpentine Lane; <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Industrial District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of November 26, <br />1985 the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City Staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found a) That the proposed <br />location of a conditional use is in accordance with the <br />objectives of this chapter and the purpose of the <br />district in which the site is located. <br />The proposed use, as conditioned, is a business <br />appropriate for the PUD-Industrial Zoning District. The <br />proposed use is compatible and similar to other uses <br />within the complex. <br />b) That the proposed location of the conditional use <br />and the conditions under which it would be operated <br />or maintained will not be detrimental to the public <br />health, safety, or welfare, or be materially <br />injurious to the properties or improvements in the <br />vicinity. <br />The complex was designed with appropriate parking <br />and loading facilities in order to accommodate this <br />type of use and the uses will be subject to relevant <br />requirements of the Building Department and Fire <br />Department. <br />c) That the proposed conditional use <br />each of the applicable provisions <br />As proposed and conditioned, each <br />provision will be satisfied. <br />WHEREAS, this project is categorically exempt <br />therefore, no environmental document <br />case. <br />will comply with <br />of this chapter. <br />applicable <br />from CEQA; <br />accompanied this <br />
