PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2732 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION MAKING FINDINGS <br />WITH REGARD TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT PREPARED <br />AND FILED UNDER CASE GP-85-8/PUD-85-15 FOR THE WALTER <br />JOHNSON FOUNDATION <br />WHEREAS, the Walter Johnson Foundation has applied to amend the <br />Land Use Element designation of the General Plan to <br />redesignate an approximately 35.8 acre site east of <br />Foothill Road from Low Density Residential to Medium <br />Density Residential and redesignate an approximately <br />173.2 acre site west of Foothill Road and below the 670' <br />elevation from Public Health and Safety to Low Density <br />Residential; and <br />WHEREAS, the Walter Johnson Foundation has also applied for PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development) zoning and development plan <br />approval for 272 unit complex containing 83 custom home <br />sites and 189 townhouses on an approximately 316 acre <br />site located on the east and west sides of Foothill Road <br />just north of the Castlewood Country Club; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is "A" (Agricultural) District; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, on November 26 and December 11, the Planning Commission <br />held public hearings regarding this project to review <br />testimony, maps, reports and the staff recommendations <br />regarding the application for general plan amendment, <br />rezoning and development plan approval; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />provided proper public notice of completion of the Draft <br />Environmental Impact Report for the proposed General <br />Plan amendment, and rezoning/development plan approval <br />for the subject site; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of December 11, <br />1985 the Planning Commission certified that they have <br />reviewed and considered the information in the final EIR <br />and determined it to be complete and in compliance with <br />CEQA. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />
