PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2744 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE PUD-85-20, APPLICATION <br />OF GEORGE MARMENT <br />WHEREAS, George Mrment has applied for rezoning from "0" Office <br />District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-High ) <br />Density Residential District and development plan <br />approval to construct a two-story, twelve-unit apartment <br />complex on a 0.5 acre site located on the west side of <br />Peters Avenue between West Angela Street and Old Bernal <br />Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of January 8, 1986 <br />the Planning Commission received a proposed negative <br />declaration for Case PUD-85-20; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study for this application and received the <br />recommendation of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on January 8, <br />1986 and the public was given the opportunity to comment <br />on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there would not be any significant impacts upon the <br />environment by approving the application and recommended <br />adoption of the Negative Declaration prepared for this <br />case. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING; <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for Case PUD-84-20, application of George <br />Marment for rezoning from "0" (Office) District to the <br />PUD (Planned Unit Development)-High Density Residential <br />District and development plan approval to construct a <br />two-story, twelve-unit apartment complex on a 0.5 acre <br />site located on the west side of Peters Avenue between <br />West Angela Street and Old Bernal Avenue. <br />
